That Shana kid is something else. Not one for idle talk either... Nice enough girl though, especially after I said I'd pay for the melon bread.

The books she lent me are actually pretty interesting- well some of them are, the rest I use for late night reading material when I can't sleep. Damned things are better than sleeping pills, any day.

I've also recently come to the conclusion that I hate paperwork nearly as much as my superior officer does.

 Well that was... I don't know what that was!

 I didn't actually think Teach would get one of these things so quickly. She tends to be pretty set in her ways, and-

Ya know, maybe I should have bothered to look at the users manual before I started using this thing. I think I'll go do that now... 

But first I should introduce myself.

I'm Jean Havoc, and I'll be working at The Tower from now on- actually I start Monday. I wonder what my Superior Officer is going to be like? Hope they don't have a strict no smoking policy.
